Marridale sets 2050 net positive pathway

19 February 2026 · Adelaide

Interim targets to 2032 and 2040 sit alongside the 2050 commitment, covering Scope 1 and 2 emissions.

Marridale Resources has published its pathway to net positive operations by 2050, with interim milestones in 2032 and 2040.

The pathway covers Scope 1 and 2 emissions against an FY24 baseline, and rests on three measures: electrification of the haul fleet at Tallara Basin, renewable supply agreements at all fixed plant, and land management across the company’s pastoral holdings.

Scope 3 emissions, which arise when customers process and use our product, are reported separately and are not included in the target. Marridale will continue to work with customers on their own transition commitments.

The full pathway document is available in our reporting centre.
