Marridale establishes Biochemical Division
9 July 2026 · Adelaide
A new division has been formed to develop applications adjacent to the company's existing processing capability.
Marridale Resources today announced the formation of the Marridale Biochemical Division, effective 1 July 2026.
The division will develop applications adjacent to the company’s existing processing capability. Work will be conducted at a dedicated facility, with initial staffing drawn from within the group and from outside the resources sector.
The division will not report separately for segment purposes in FY27.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Byron Lee-Edwards said the formation reflected the company’s long-term approach to value. “Not everything we do begins in a pit,” he said. “There is more in the ground than the ore, and more in the process than the product. This is a modest step, taken carefully, and we will say more when there is more to say.”
Further detail will be provided as commercial arrangements permit. Media enquiries relating to the division should be directed to corporate affairs in the first instance. The division’s Director has asked that enquiries not be made to the facility.
